Together Again!!!!!!!!!!!

Now Rashan and Ashley are back together!!!!!!!!!!!! Well we have been together for almost two weeks!!!! Ashley came back to the East Coast for just three days, before leaving for China, and then extended her stay for more than another week! We have been spending our days sleeping in, working out, playing ball, and hanging out. Needless to say, it has been blissful :))))))))))))))))))))
Ashley spent last weekend with one of her best friends, another young woman named Ashley and Rashan and this Ashley had to suffer the distance for a whole day! But now Ashley is officially leaving for China in about 40 hours... And then this will REALLY become an LDR blog!!!! It has been a great summer overall, we got to see each other way more than we had originally hoped for and it is sad to think that we won't have a chance of seeing one another for months... This blog should really start picking up speed in the next week as it may become our main mode of communication!

It already seems like forever since I last saw Ashley Rose, even though it's only been less than a week!!!
Fortunately she's coming to DC for a visit in just about a week from now!!! I'm very excited!
This trip is almost certainly the last time I'll see her in about half a year when she goes overseas. We'll have to get the most enjoyment out of this short stay as possible. See our friends, see some touristy stuff probably, and just spend time together.
I can't for Ashley to get here, but with each day, she gets one step closer to China!!!!

Hey there.
It's Rashan reporting from home back on the east coast. It's nice to be back, but I am really missing Rosey. My flights weren't too bad today, and I had some nice conversation on the first one sitting between a kid going into her first year and a mother of two college students. On my second flight, there was this big dude next to me snoring MAD loud for the duration of the trip. It was okay though. I feel his tiredness now after traveling all day.
I hope Ashley Rose gets to come out here and visit for a little while before she heads out to China and I can't see her for months!!!

Parting Is Such Sweet Sorrow...

Well, now it's only Ashley. I just took Rashan to the SFO airport and he is now well on his way back home :(((((((((((((((((( I cried at the airport which is always embarrassing... Then I went back to the car, got caught in nasty traffic, came straight home to watch reruns of The Game to numb the pain ;D  ...  Oh, and the INSANE season finale of Harper's Island... It really sucks being without Rashan now after spending the last two weeks together with probably less than one hour apart from each other only because of bathroom and shower breaks. Regardless, it really was an AMAZING trip and we got to do so much fun stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope to see him one last time before I leave for China in a couple of weeks (maybe less!) but if not, I won't see him again for 6 whole months!!!!!!! But I suppose that such is technically the point of this blog in the first place. In the meantime, I have A LOT to do to prepare for China, my new job, and I still have a TON of pictures to post! I miss you so much already Rashan! The dogs can tell I'm really sad and they're probably thinking how weird it is that you're not here anymore. COME BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First Blog/Post!

Live from San Francisco, California we have created a new blog for the commencement of our upcoming long distance relationship. And also just a blog for the two of us in general. Ashley will be moving to China to teach English while Rashan is finishing undergraduate in Virginia. We met while in college in Virginia, we were good friends who fell in love and now we are dreading being apart soon for an undetermined amount of time. Right now, Rashan is out here in California staying with Ashley for a couple of weeks before Ashley flies out to the other side of the world. He will soon return home to his family in DC. Well, this is an introductory blog, so we'll sign off from here and there will be more to come!!!
